The Kerran workshop is over, for which I am thankful as I never really got into that aesthetic. so I ended up not really participating.  We have moved on to Ogres now and the latest shots are my first attempt at an Ogre temple.  The primary influences are Greek and Egyptian. Not too terribly into this, either, but the Dwarves lost out on the poll again (which is all good, really as that just means more development time and a wider range of textures and props when we finally get toi them)... but it is more interesting to me than the Kerrans.

The Kerrans (Kerra, pl?  not sure) are a feline race in EQN with a spiritual nature. Initial concepts look very Tibetan/Chinese/ SE  Asian/Indian (basically Buddhist).  This workshop has just started, so I have been doing some basic concepting, trying to decide which way to go and what influences to feature.  This works will be prefaced with a KN.  Trying to find a nice mixture of grid versus curve to create a nice visual contrast in the lines. Will be working on these ideas for the next few weeks.

I have been involved in the SoE Landmark Alpha and Beta testing since January.  The pictures you see posted are screen captures and edited screen captures that I have posted here so that I could link to them on the Landmark forums. Anything with a DE prefix is something that I have done for the EQN Dark Elf Workshop, where we are currently working on designs for the Dark Elves in the upcoming EverQuest Next.  One of the nifty things about being in the Landmark testing is that you get to participate in Workshops like that...  all of the races in EQN will probably be covered in the process at some point.
